Senior Director of Investor relations position with a total comp package in excess of 300k
* Bachelor of Business Administration in finance or accounting. MBA in finance or accounting preferred.
* CFA or CPA highly desirable.
* 10+ years of related experience in finance, accounting or other analytical positions with at least 5 years in a senior capacity required.
* Previous sell-side or buy-side experience in an investment bank or in another international energy company required. Previous investor relations experience highly desirable. Previous experience in emerging markets a real plus.
* Superior oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish required. Must be truly bilingual in reading, writing and speaking English and Spanish. Helpful to understand Portuguese as well.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
Manage the company’s accounting and data processing functions.
Insure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, that proper records are kept of the company’s assets, that the obligations of the company are properly recorded and fulfilled, and that accurate, timely, and meaningful information is available to the company’s owners and employees.
Coordinate financial activity between the company, its owners, employees, customers, suppliers, bankers, auditors, regulatory agencies, and others.
Work with other officers to develop company objectives and implement strategies that will result in successful accomplishment of the company’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Locate, hire, train, motivate and manage qualified employees to be responsible for each accounting and data processing area.
2. Identify, purchase, install, and maintain the most efficient and effective data processing hardware and software available to meet the company’s requirements.
3. Manage the company’s cash position in order to maintain required liquidity to meet obligations and keep the company in the most favorable interest position possible.
4. Respond to requests for information or assistance from owners, employees, customers, suppliers, and others.
5. Coordinate business relationships with bankers, auditors, regulatory agencies and others.
6. Work with officers and department managers to develop an annual budget that is consistent with the company’s objectives and periodically report actual results compared to the annual plan.
7. Manages the company’s retirement plans including 401(k), profit sharing, and various deferred compensation options.
8. Strictly adheres to all company policies and procedures, and consistently promotes a productive and harmonious relationship with all other employees in the company.
9. Represents the company at all times in a positive and professional manner to enhance the company’s image with current and prospective clients as well as the general public.
10. Performs any other duties as required or requested.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
A bachelors degree in business administration with a major in accounting.
In addition, a graduate degree and/or professional certification would be preferred CPA. MBA, CMA etc.
A minimum of ten to twelve years experience in accounting and data processing in a commercial construction environment.
Credit Risk Manager – Central, TX. $95-100k + Variable Bonus + Relocation Assistance
About the opportunity:
Lead role in a new corporate organization designed to perform the customer
set up, credit granting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of clients and
agencies across company business. Accountable for the following areas:
- Maximizing profitable sales by applying corporate credit policy, leveraging automation in routine decision-making and making tough calls in unclear customer situations.
- Day-to-day and longer-term prioritizing of the receivables, aging, and collections work of customers.
- Managing the initial pilot for setting up new customers, granting credit, and collecting major past due receivables.
- Uncovering pilot learning and helping to refine both the organization and process design as needed to build an optimally effective operation.
- Hiring and training a small staff and implementing a department design.
Previous credit management decision making in a centralized environment required.
- Expertise in financial operations and understands the vital components of cash flow management.
- Ability to form strong and effective relationships as well as work closely with and influence senior decision makers at major advertising agencies.
- Skills needed to proactively communicate and collaborate internally and with sales and business offices.
- Ability to analyze and make decisions on an individual customer level as well as a broader portfolio level.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER (Midwest Location)
We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, dedicated executive to direct and provide leadership over the controller, SEC, financial reporting, accounting, and budgeting functions for the Bank. Reporting directly to the President-CEO, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls providing the basis for sound management decisions to meet strategic objectives and safeguarding Bank assets. Ensures the maintenance of accounting records is in accordance with GAAP, FASB, SEC, Sarbanes-Oxley, and Federal Housing Finance Agency directives. As a member of the executive staff, you will interface directly with the Board of Directors, Federal Housing Finance Agency and members.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- BS in Bus Admin, Accounting or Finance, CPA required. MBA with emphasis in accounting or finance desired.
- Big 4 audit firm experience is ideal.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the accounting profession required. Thorough knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal control concepts.
- Experienced working with external audit, the SEC, and federal examination personnel.
- Leadership skills to develop and strengthen the financial controls team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidates right out of public accounting (Big 4) will be considered if they have 15+ yrs experience and have focused on bank and financial institution auditing.
